Airman Johnny R. Brock (Amn) was among the six members of the 821st
Security Police Squadron lost in the 1971 Ellsworth AFB UH-1F “Huey”
crash, over 11 miles north of Wall, South Dakota, a mission meant
simply to rotate security forces at ICBM launch sites.
