Larry D. Hughes
Airman First Class Larry D. Hughes served with Ellsworth’s 821st
Security Police Squadron. He died 9 October 1971 in the same tragic
helicopter crash that took the lives of five other security-police
airmen during what should have been a routine security crew movement
near Wall, SD.
